Corpay is currently looking to hire a new Marketing Director for our Corporate Payments (CPC) line of business. The role is based in Swindon or London, UK, and reports to the VP Marketing, UK.
Role Overview
As a senior member of the UK Marketing team and part of the European Center of Marketing Excellence, you will lead the planning and execution of strategic growth sales and marketing activity for the UK business, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, activation, retention, upsell, cross‑sell, and lifecycle marketing programmes across online and offline channels.

The Marketing Director will work in a hybrid office environment. Corpay will provide an assigned workspace, company‑issued equipment, formal hands‑on training, and support from a dedicated global marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Define the overarching marketing strategy in alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams and coordinate between stakeholders.
- Identify priority markets, segments and channels to maximise brand impact and demand/lead generation.
- Develop positioning and messaging frameworks to differentiate Corpay Complete in competitive landscapes.
- Set annual and quarterly marketing goals, KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Define campaign KPIs and success measurement frameworks with a critical focus on ROI and revenue generation.
- Manage customer and prospect segmentation to support targeted marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales teams to track, maintain and optimise marketing’s contribution to the sales pipeline.
- Lead the end‑to‑end planning and delivery of full‑funnel marketing campaigns for Corpay Complete.
- Lead the production of campaign assets, ensuring brand consistency and high‑quality output, managing the creative process from briefing to final delivery across all formats.
- Design ABM programmes (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) to create demand in larger accounts in a structured and personalised way.
- Coordinate efforts of internal marketing teams to ensure campaign alignment and brand consistency.
- Manage relationships with wider marketing teams and agencies, optimising use of internal and external resources.
- Work with the UK Brand & PR team to develop press releases, secure media opportunities and manage corporate communications.
- Oversee paid advertising campaigns, budgets and performance optimisation, using the digital team as an expert resource.
- Use Marketing Automation and data teams to conduct nurture journeys, aligned with triggered campaigns.
- Partner with the data team to procure and onboard purchased data, expanding prospect reach and improving targeting precision.
- Brief and coordinate with Data and Salesforce teams to ensure smooth execution of data‑driven marketing initiatives, CRM integrations and accurate pipeline reporting.
- Lead the development of thought leadership content through agency partners.
- Define, in collaboration with stakeholders, the physical and virtual event programme and execute with the wider team.
- Own and manage the marketing budget for Corpay Complete, ensuring optimal allocation across channels and campaigns.
- Provide insights from marketing activity to inform product development and market positioning.
- Own campaign performance reporting and insights, producing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on marketing performance.
- Assist in customer communications (service and campaign/promotional led).
- Build Customer Marketing programmes to drive retention, upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Act as brand guardian, owning tone and visual identity for Corpay Complete.
- Generate ideas and suitable execution plans for new thematic content.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven track record in planning, leading and executing sales‑focused marketing in a data‑driven, multi‑channel, multi‑touch environment.
- Experience leading demand‑generation programmes through optimised, multi‑channel marketing.
- Finance, Accounts Payable, Banking and/or payments experience advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of all direct channels, including digital and non‑digital.
- Strong understanding and competent use of Marketing Automation, CRM (Salesforce or similar tools), digital media including SEO, social media and PPC.
- Deep understanding of lead generation, lead warming and nurturing techniques.
- Experience across a range of marketing disciplines, including product promotion and brand usage within the communications mix.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Several years’ experience in a similar senior B2B marketing role.
- Proven track record in leading B2B marketing that delivers business impact and growth.
- Commercial, outcome‑focused, KPI and data‑driven mindset.
- Strategic and creative approach with a thorough understanding of the prospect and customer journey and buying lifecycle trigger points.
- Ability to build strong sales and GTM relationships across the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cross‑collaboration and stakeholder management.
- High motivation, resilience and a proactive approach.
- Marketing related degree and/or CIM Postgraduate Diploma preferable.
- Growth mindset and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast‑paced environment.
