This position falls under our International Vehicle Payments (IVP) line of business and can be located in London, Swindon or Knaresborough. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, analytical, and comfortable working with sales, customer, and transaction data.
The successful candidate should be able to go beyond numbers: they should understand what the data means, identify what is not making sense, challenge assumptions, dig into root causes, and provide clear recommendations that help improve sales performance.
As a Senior Sales Analyst, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in our designated London, Swindon or Knaresborough, UK office locations
- Company-issued equipment
- Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to deliver weekly and monthly sales performance reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, and supported by clear interpretation, insights and actions.
- Monitor sales performance across the full funnel, identifying key trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities; investigate root causes, clearly sizing the issue, translate analysis into practical recommendations and next steps for leadership or business owners.
- Review and optimise funnel measurement by assessing existing reporting, latest initiatives in Sales, Marketing and other teams to ensure performance measurement correctly reflects latest business activities and support implementation of changes.
- Support the annual budget and planning process to build and validate sales forecast models and business cases based on historical performance, market trends, assumptions and inputs from business stakeholders.
- Partner with business stakeholders and BI team to strengthen sales analytics foundations, including KPI definitions, reporting logic, data quality, funnel measurement, and consistent business interpretation.
- Track agreed actions after implementation, monitoring performance against expected outcomes and escalating where results are not on track.
- Lead and deliver ad hoc analysis coming from different teams, prioritising requests based on commercial impact, decision urgency, and relevance to sales performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to connect data, business context, and commercial performance across different markets, products, or business models.
- Proven experience translating sales or commercial analysis into recommendations, business cases, and measurable actions, preferably in a high-transaction industry such as payments, credit cards, fleet, telecom, banking, financial services, SaaS, or similar.
- Strong business acumen and opportunity-sizing capability, with the ability to distinguish noise from material issues and judge which problems are large enough to act on.
- Self-starter with strong ownership, curiosity, a results-driven mindset, and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis in a simple, practical, and business-oriented way, influence action, and follow up on progress with senior and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent MS Excel skills are a must; intermediate SQL skills are required.
- Tableau/Power BI skills are required; experience with Python, or R is a plus.
