Join Fleet Education Services as a flexible, in-person Tutor in the Islington area. We're looking for passionate and experienced educators who hold Qualified Teacher Status to deliver GCSE and/or Primary level tuition in English, Maths or Science to learners outside of mainstream education.
Working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with students who need extra support—many with SEND or SEMH needs—and help them gain confidence, build skills, and reach their potential.
Who We’re Looking For
- Fully Qualified Teacher Status with TRN
- Experienced educators with a minimum 6 months’ UK experience
- Confident delivering English, Maths or Science at Primary–KS4
- Bachelor’s degree or level 6 qualification
- Enhanced DBS (Exclusively on Children’s barred list and registered to the Update Service) or willingness to apply
- Experience working with SEND or SEMH learners (preferred)
- UK-based with the right to work and no limitations to workable hours
What You’ll Do
- Deliver face-to-face tuition, either 1:1 or in small groups in learners' homes or in a public setting
- Tutor Primary, KS3 or GCSE level in your specialist subject(s)
- Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons
- Track learner progress and provide regular updates
- Use our STEPS platform to manage and record sessions
- Work closely with families, guardians, and schools
- Deliver occasional online sessions if needed
