Fleet Service GB is looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Rental Controller to join our Operations team. This is a fast‑paced operational role responsible for managing the full rental lifecycle and delivering an excellent service to our customers. You’ll handle rental bookings, extensions, terminations, VOR support and damage rental processes, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure rentals are accurate, compliant and cost‑effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full rental lifecycle including new bookings, extensions, terminations and swaps
- Handle inbound rental‑related calls, emails and portal activity within agreed KPIs
- Monitor and manage VOR (Vehicle Off Road) rentals, liaising with garages, suppliers and Technical Services
- Manage damage rental cases, including document validation, claim tracking and dispute handling
- Maintain accurate system records, notes and booking data
- Support rental billing queries, invoice validation and dispute resolution
- Balance workload effectively across calls, systems and shared inboxes
- Contribute to service improvements and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- High attention to detail, particularly with documentation, bookings and invoices
- Confident communicator with a professional approach to customers and suppliers
- Able to make informed decisions within agreed processes and authority levels
- Experience in rental, fleet management, VOR or damage processes
- Experience handling claims, disputes or supplier validation
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of cost control
