Our client is a fleet mobility specialist, providing Salary Sacrifice, Vehicle Leasing, Fleet Management, Accident Management and Grey Fleet solutions to organisations throughout the UK. Long established, the business manages over 10,000 vehicles across the public and corporate sectors.
We are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to help maximise the value of their existing client relationships by increasing employee engagement with Salary Sacrifice schemes whilst identifying opportunities to introduce wider fleet and vehicle leasing solutions. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Managing Director and offers genuine earning potential through an uncapped commission structure.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth within an established customer portfolio by increasing Salary Sacrifice vehicle uptake and uncovering opportunities to cross-sell additional fleet services. You will work closely with HR, Reward & Benefits teams, Procurement departments and Fleet Managers, helping clients maximise participation in their Salary Sacrifice programmes whilst demonstrating the wider value of our client's fleet management capabilities. The role is field based with regular travel to customer sites throughout the UK. Attendance at their Head Office in Staffordshire will be required once or twice per week to maintain strong internal relationships and to collaborate with operational teams.
- Manage and grow revenue within an existing portfolio of customer accounts
- Increase employee participation and vehicle orders within Salary Sacrifice schemes
- Deliver presentations, roadshows and engagement events to client employees
- Build relationships with HR, Reward, Procurement and Fleet stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to introduce Contract Hire, Fleet Management and related services
- Work closely with internal operational and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes
- Produce account development plans and growth strategies
- Deliver against agreed revenue and vehicle order targets
- Provide market feedback and competitor intelligence
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline information within the CRM system
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess proven experience within the Salary Sacrifice vehicle market. You will understand not only how schemes work and are implemented, but more importantly how employee engagement is increased to drive vehicle orders and maximise programme success. We are particularly interested in candidates from Salary Sacrifice providers, vehicle leasing organisations, fleet management companies or employee benefit businesses with a strong automotive focus.
Essential Experience
- Proven track record within Salary Sacrifice vehicle schemes.
- Experience increasing employee take-up and vehicle order volumes.
- Strong understanding of employee benefit programmes.
- Knowledge of vehicle leasing and Contract Hire solutions.
- Experience managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Ability to present confidently to both senior stakeholders and employee groups.
- Commercially driven with a consultative approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Highly Desirable
- Fleet Management experience.
- Knowledge of Grey Fleet solutions.
- Experience working with NHS, public sector or large corporate clients.
- Understanding of EV Salary Sacrifice schemes and associated tax benefits.
- Experience within vehicle funding or automotive services.
