Our client is a reputable contract hire brokerage. We are looking for a proven B2B fleet sales professional to win contract hire business in the SME market and manage and close inbound enquiries from business users.

Commission of circa £45,000 to £50,000 a year, over and above salary, is being achieved in the team.

The Role

Based from our offices in Manchester, you will find opportunities and win business contract hire in the sub 200 vehicle marketplace, and manage and convert inbound enquiries from business users.

You will need to:

  • Demonstrate a strong leasing customer base
  • Align objectives with fleet decision‑makers and use great consultancy to find pain, solve problems and add value
  • Manage your prospect and sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts
  • Achieve agreed and sensible targets

About you

You must work in, know, and understand the vehicle leasing market and be able to prove your success. You need to be the sort of person that loves the thrill of winning new accounts, gets a buzz from taking orders, and who is consultative, organised, and disciplined.

You will be a naturally curious person, unafraid to put hard yards into achieving success and loves the financial rewards that brings.

You need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of new business B2B selling in the leasing broker market
  • Proof of work history and previous success
  • A tenacious can‑do attitude driven by a powerful WHY
  • Great diary and time management
  • Acumen to understand customers’ problems and challenges and relate those to solutions you can provide
  • Ability and discipline to manage a sales pipeline
  • Discipline to record activity and forecast business accurately
  • Acumen to know when to “do a deal” and when to walk away
  • Ability to close business
  • Customer management skills that build solid relationships, for the customer, for our client, and for you
