Are you passionate about developing the next generation of professional drivers and transport professionals? We're helping a wonderful training provider to find an engaging and motivated Tutor to support apprentices across the UK through their learning journey in the transport and logistics sector.
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with apprentices and employers, you'll deliver high-quality training aligned to Urban Driver and Passenger Transport standards, helping apprentices build the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to succeed in professional driving roles and achieve successful End Point Assessment outcomes. This is a national delivery role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and making a genuine impact on learner progression and career development.
Duties include:
- Delivering workshops and reviews
- Monitoring learner progress
- Providing tailored support and feedback
- Maintaining compliance and learner records
- Ensuring learners remain motivated, on track and fully prepared for successful completion of their apprenticeship programme

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can inspire learners, build strong employer relationships and bring real-world transport experience into the classroom and workplace.
You’ll ideally have:
- A minimum of 1 year's occupational experience within the transport or logistics sector
- Previous experience holding a Category C (Class 2) and/or Category D licence
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of professional driving standards
- Experience delivering training, coaching or assessing within a workplace or education environment
- A learner-focused approach with excellent communication and motivational skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively
- Confidence using IT systems including Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms
- An understanding of apprenticeship delivery, ESFA funding rules and EPA processes
- The ability to adapt your approach to support learners with different needs and abilities
- A positive, professional attitude aligned to company values and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT (or equivalent)
- Teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one
- Assessing qualification such as CAVA, or willingness to achieve
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential
