The Role
As Head of Sales, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of our client's sales function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be accountable for building a high-performing sales team and delivering sustainable new business growth. You will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, and Senior Leadership to ensure that the team's sales approach is aligned with the company's mission, values, and commercial goals. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, developing people, and driving consistent performance.
What's on offer?
- A salary of £50,000 to £60,000 (Depending on Experience)
- A performance related bonus of £25,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic sales leadership
- Own and deliver sales targets, forecasts, and pipeline performance.
- Maintain clear visibility of pipeline health, conversion rates, and deal quality.
- Lead on strategic partnerships, including Multi Academy Trusts and Local Authorities.
- Use data and insight to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish clear standards for sales activity, qualification, and follow-up.
- Team leadership & development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Consultants.
- Build a high-performance, values-led culture.
- Set clear expectations and performance measures.
- Design and deliver structured onboarding, training, and development programmes.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, call listening, reviews, and performance check-ins.
- Build confidence, skill, and accountability across the team.
- Business development & customer acquisition
- Drive acquisition of new schools and MATs.
- Embed consultative, needs-led selling approaches.
- Work closely with Marketing on lead generation and campaign follow-up.
- Ensure accurate CRM usage and reporting across the team.
- Maintain high standards of customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to optimise the customer lifecycle.
- Provide structured feedback to inform product, positioning, and proposition development.
- Collaborate with Finance and Leadership on forecasting and planning.
- Data, reporting & market insight
- Analyse pipeline, win rates, renewals risk, and market trends.
- Monitor KPIs including conversion rates, AOV, NPS, and customer satisfaction.
- Produce clear, actionable reports for senior leadership.
- Track competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Head of Department & Company Leadership
- Embed a strong customer-centric culture.
- Champion Daisy's values across the organisation.
- Ensure consistent use of systems and processes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across teams.
- Lead regular product, sector, and skills development sessions.
- Actively identify and develop new commercial opportunities.
