Performance bonus - linked to project involvement and technical contribution, with overall compensation opportunity above £100K

Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers of modular wiring systems and prefabricated electrical solutions. For over twenty-four years, within a group trading for forty-six years, they've helped developers, main contractors, M&E contractors and design consultants deliver projects faster, safer and more efficiently through modular wiring technology.

If you understand how electrical installations are designed, coordinated, delivered and commissioned, this is a chance to use that experience in a different way.

THE ROLE

You'll use your electrical experience to lead technical discussions, guide installation decisions and help contractors deliver projects more efficiently, and spend much of your time:

  • Engaging with project stakeholders including main contractors, M&E contractors and design consultants to review drawings, installation methods and technical challenges.
  • Reviewing containment layouts, wiring approaches and installation requirements
  • Identifying where traditional wiring may create labour, coordination or snagging issues.
  • Showing where modular wiring can provide a cleaner, faster and more efficient solution.
  • Supporting contractors from early discussions through to delivery.
  • Helping project teams understand how modular wiring fits into their programme and installation sequence.

Your credibility comes from understanding how installations are delivered on site and being able to translate that knowledge into clear, practical direction for project teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review project drawings, specifications and installation plans to understand wiring approaches and identify where modular wiring adds value.
  • Discuss installation methods and technical challenges with project stakeholders including main contractors, M&E contractors and design consultants, using your electrical experience to guide practical solutions.
  • Spot coordination issues early and show where modular wiring can simplify delivery.
  • Support project teams through the project cycle from early discussions to installation on site.
  • Provide technical guidance on how modular wiring fits into containment, programme and installation sequence.
  • Build trusted relationships with project teams across London through technical credibility.
  • Oversee modular wiring involvement on live projects, ensuring teams have the right information, drawings and support.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You'll come from an electrical background and have worked for one of London's top 30 M&E contractors, and understand how installations are delivered on site or coordinated at project level. Ideally you will have experience or managing teams installing Modular Wiring.

You don't need sales experience; your value comes from your technical knowledge and the way you communicate it.

You may have worked in design, pre-construction, estimating, project delivery, commissioning or technical support, or any other relevant department or role.

What matters is that you're comfortable with:

  • Reading drawings and understanding wiring approaches.
  • Discussing installation methods with all project stakeholders at every level.
  • Spotting challenges early and suggesting practical solutions.
  • Using your electrical experience to open conversations and demonstrate value.

Experience with modular wiring or prefabricated systems is desirable, but not essential; full training is provided.

WHY THIS ROLE

  • If you enjoy the technical side of the job but want to use your experience in a broader way, this role gives you that opportunity.
  • You'll work across London with autonomy, using your electrical knowledge to help contractors deliver projects more efficiently.
  • Instead of being tied to one site or one project, you'll be involved in multiple schemes reviewing drawings, discussing installation methods and helping teams solve practical challenges. Your value comes from the way you communicate your experience, open conversations and demonstrate where modular wiring makes life easier.
  • Modular wiring is widely used across London, and you'll play a key part in how it's applied on major projects. It's a role where technical credibility carries real influence.

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

  • £75,000 basic salary (negotiable depending on experience).
  • Performance bonus linked to project involvement and contribution.
  • Remote working across the London region.
  • Full product and technical training on modular wiring systems.
  • Structured onboarding with ongoing technical and project support.
  • A role with autonomy, where your electrical experience directly influences how major projects are delivered.
