Role Overview

The Stockroom Operations & Data Manager is responsible for the flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor.

This role ensures that all incoming products are received accurately, priced correctly, and prepared for sale, and entered correctly into our point of sale system.

This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production-style environment where efficiency and accuracy are essential.

Part-time / 20-30 hours a week

Part-time position: 20-30 hours per week, flexible schedule, opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Processing Inventory
  • Receive incoming shipments from vendors and delivery services.
  • Pull and review packing slips for each purchase order.
  • Create item numbers and purchase orders as needed.
  • Check in, price merchandise and prepare it for the sales floor.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Vendor Communication
  • Record any damaged merchandise and note it clearly on paperwork.
  • Take photos of damaged items and report them so the company can request vendor credit or replacements.
  • Follow up with vendors regarding broken or incorrect inventory.
  • Ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Stock Room Operations
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in the stock room.
  • Break down boxes, remove trash, and keep the work area tidy throughout the day.
  • Turn in completed paperwork daily.
  • Store Support
  • Assist with running the cash register each day during lunch coverage.
  • Learn how to count the cash drawers and open and close the cash drawers.
  • Assist our senior inventory manager as needed.
