Overview
We\’re seeking a skilled Offshore Instrument Technician to provide short-term cover for a team member currently off sick. This ad hoc opportunity is based in the North Sea, supporting a well-established operation with a strong safety culture and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation systems
- Support fault-finding and troubleshooting across control and safety systems
- Ensure compliance with site procedures and offshore safety standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain operational integrity
Essential Requirements
- CompEx certification (EX01-EX04 minimum)
- Proven offshore experience in instrumentation and control systems
- Strong understanding of hazardous area equipment and ATEX compliance
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Desirable
- Small Bore Tubing Training (SBT02) or equivalent
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and isolation procedures
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic control systems
Location & Duration
- Offshore North Sea
- Ad hoc position, expected to last several weeks (with potential for extension and future ad hoc work)
