We are looking for an organised, motivated, and detail-driven Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a key role supporting the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, with responsibilities across reporting, reconciliations, journals, cashflow forecasting, and analysis. You will play an integral part in maintaining robust financial data, supporting business performance, and mentoring the Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analysing P&L transactions, posting journals and adjustments where necessary
- Support monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage and reconcile prepayment schedules
- Maintaining the fixed asset register, including depreciation and disposals
- Assist in the preparation of short and long term cash forecasting
- Performing intercompany reconciliations
- Ensuring exchange rates in Sage 200 are up to date and accurate
- Providing support and mentorship within the finance team
- Sales invoicing
