Tuition Consultant
12 Months Fixed Term Maternity Cover
About us:
Fleet Education Services, part of the Supporting Education Group, is the UK's leading provider of bespoke tuition programmes for learners of all ages and abilities. We support schools, local authorities, and alternative provision providers with high-quality, flexible solutions tailored to each learner's needs. Our team is passionate about education, and we are proud to make a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable and at-risk young people every day.
About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive and relationship-driven individual to join our close-knit team in Farnborough as a Recruitment Consultant - Managing Tuition. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in connecting brilliant tutors with the schools and learners who need them most. You’ll be joining us to cover a Maternity in the team.
In this specialist role, you’ll work closely with clients (schools and local authorities) to understand their needs, identify the best-fit tutors, and support the delivery of tailored tuition programmes. You’ll be a key liaison between tutors and clients-taking briefs, building long-term relationships, promoting our full range of services, and helping to ensure every placement is set up for success.
About you
You’ll collaborate with our Business Development team on new client opportunities, and with our Placement and Resourcing teams who manage compliance and onboarding. Your confidence on the phone, attention to detail, and talent for consultative sales aptitude will be key to your success.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- A natural relationship-builder, comfortable working with a range of stakeholders including schools, tutors, and internal teams.
- A confident communicator-both over the phone and in writing-with a consultative approach to client conversations.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple accounts and matching the right candidates to the right opportunities.
- Proactive and solution-focused, always on the lookout for ways to improve service and identify co-selling opportunities.
- A genuine team player, able to collaborate across functions while managing your own time and priorities.
- Experience in service delivery, account management or recruitment placements would be a strong advantage, but most importantly, you’ll bring a positive, driven mindset and a passion for making a difference in education.
- Whilst we work in a hybrid way, with collaboration being one of our values, we’d expect you to regularly be in our Farnborough office, at least three days per week.
- 28 days holiday and get an extra day for each year you stay with us, up to max 33 days PLUS bank holidays
- Health Cash Plan, once you’ve passed probation, which includes access to a private GP
- From day 1, free life insurance covering up to x4 your salary
- We’ll both add money into your pension pot after 3 months
- Choose what flexible benefits you want after you’ve passed probation - this could be buying extra holiday, dental, topping up your healthcare plan, bikes, gym membership, electric cars and give as you earn
- Learning and development opportunities
- Volunteer days - 3 paid volunteer days a year, with 2 dedicated to Education
By joining us, you will become part of a community that is dedicated to transforming lives and sustaining communities, where your voice is heard, your ideas are valued, and your individuality is celebrated. Together, we will continue to advance our passion for education and build brighter futures for all.
Employment offers are subject to satisfactory vetting checks. These checks will be run in line with the latest guidance and legislation. You will need to already have the right to work in the UK, as we are not able to offer any sponsorship(s) for visa applicants.
This role also requires criminal records checks in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and safeguarding legislation. For roles in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland, this is a DBS check or PVG Scheme in Scotland. The level of check required will determine what you need to disclose.
