The Role
The Key Account Manager (Salary Sacrifice) will account manage a portfolio of Salary Sacrifice clients on a day-to-day basis, ensuring a high‑quality service experience through proactive support, accurate reporting, and strong relationship management. The role acts as the primary link between clients and Fleet Alliance, supporting onboarding, ongoing scheme delivery, and client retention, while working closely with the Fleet Alliance sales team to identify and generate incremental income opportunities.
What will I be doing
- Manage Salary Sacrifice clients on a day-to-day basis, acting as the main point of contact for all scheme‑related queries.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Ensure service levels are met or exceeded, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Conduct quarterly client reviews.
- Produce and deliver regular and ad‑hoc reporting to clients and Fleet Alliance, providing clear insights into scheme performance.
- Monitor scheme activity, uptake, and utilisation, highlighting trends and opportunities where appropriate.
- Ensure all data and reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with internal and client standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all activity adheres to relevant regulatory, compliance, and internal governance requirements.
- Keep up to date with Salary Sacrifice legislation, market trends, and product developments.
- Act as the key liaison between clients and the Fleet Alliance sales team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Support sales activity by identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Contribute to the generation of incremental income through proactive account development and client engagement.
- Support the onboarding of new Salary Sacrifice clients, ensuring a smooth and compliant implementation.
- Maintain and regularly review existing Salary Sacrifice schemes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal performance.
- Coordinate scheme changes, renewals, and enhancements in line with client requirements.
What will I need to succeed
- Experience managing accounts within a B2B environment.
- Background or understanding in salary sacrifice.
- Demonstrated success in multi‑stakeholder account management, including HR, Finance, Reward, Procurement, and Board level.
- Experience in client relationship management with the ability to upsell and cross‑sell within existing accounts.
- Track record of delivering account growth, retention, and long‑term client value.
- Strong understanding of contract management and service‑level agreements (SLAs).
- Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Product, and various teams.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data‑led account planning.
- Confident presenting account reviews, insight and strategic recommendations to senior client audiences.
