The role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant. You'll be responsible for performing various bookkeeping and accounting tasks including invoicing, direct debit processing and reconciliations. This role is temporary for 6 months initially and is a part time role, 25 hours per week, worked Monday - Friday.

What will I be doing

  • Raising Sales invoices
  • Checking and processing purchase invoices.
  • Managing monthly direct debits including set up of new customers.
  • Invoicing reconciliation
  • Completing all reports in a timely manner.
  • Escalation of issues to the Senior Accounts Assistant/Finance Manager
  • Supporting the team where necessary to ensure all department targets are met.

What will I need to succeed

  • IT – knowledge of Excel
  • Sage experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Good time management and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
