You’ll execute high-quality experimental work, generate reliable data, and contribute to tech transfer and reports that drive project decisions.
- What you’ll do
- Execute experimental programs with guidance to develop, evaluate, and characterize upstream microbial processes for target molecules, with focus on Gene & Expression Vector design, DNA Cloning and Strain Construction.
- Generate high-quality data; perform analytical assessments and basic characterization aligned with project goals.
- Maintain rigorous, compliant documentation of experiments per PD quality procedures.
- Support technology transfer across sites and departments, following defined requirements and workflows.
- Prepare and contribute to internal/external reports, presentations, and project updates.
- Operate to c GMP expectations where applicable and uphold EHS policies and safe working practices.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams and support the project lead with interdepartmental interactions.
- What you’ll bring
- A relevant degree (e. g., Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical/Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology) or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in microbial upstream operations (e. g., shake flasks, bioreactors/fermenters, media/feed prep, aseptic technique).
- Familiarity with process development workflows, data recording, and documentation to quality standards.
- Working knowledge of c GMP principles and strong EHS mindset.
- Clear, concise communication skills; ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and present results.
- Experience supporting tech transfer between development and manufacturing or across sites.
