Location: Billingham - UK

What you’ll do:

  • Own delivery of capital projects to baseline scope, schedule, budget and quality KPIs.
  • Proactively manage, forecast and report project costs; contribute to monthly cost reports and Tier updates.
  • Lead regular project progress meetings with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the project risk register and mitigation plans; escalated safety, budget, schedule and quality risks.
  • Oversee tender strategy and execution (for projects >£10k) with Procurement; evaluate bids and select vendors with SMEs.
  • Ensure compliance with all site procedures, quality standards and capital project processes.
  • Lead validation and commissioning planning and execution with appropriate resources.
  • Manage project communications across site operations, partners and third parties.
  • Drive closure of actions from HAZOP, HAZID, Safety Reviews and TQs without impacting schedule.

What you’ll bring:

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record delivering capital projects in a regulated environment (biotech, pharma, chemicals, FMCG or similar).
  • Strong cost control, forecasting and schedule management skills across full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to chair multi-disciplinary meetings.
  • Robust understanding of CDM Regulations and duty holder responsibilities.
  • Experience with validation and commissioning in GMP or similarly regulated settings.
  • Competence in procurement, tendering, vendor evaluation and contract administration (NEC/JCT exposure desirable).
  • Ability to manage scope, change control, risk registers and project governance.
