Location: Billingham - UK
What you’ll do:
- Own delivery of capital projects to baseline scope, schedule, budget and quality KPIs.
- Proactively manage, forecast and report project costs; contribute to monthly cost reports and Tier updates.
- Lead regular project progress meetings with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the project risk register and mitigation plans; escalated safety, budget, schedule and quality risks.
- Oversee tender strategy and execution (for projects >£10k) with Procurement; evaluate bids and select vendors with SMEs.
- Ensure compliance with all site procedures, quality standards and capital project processes.
- Lead validation and commissioning planning and execution with appropriate resources.
- Manage project communications across site operations, partners and third parties.
- Drive closure of actions from HAZOP, HAZID, Safety Reviews and TQs without impacting schedule.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record delivering capital projects in a regulated environment (biotech, pharma, chemicals, FMCG or similar).
- Strong cost control, forecasting and schedule management skills across full project lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to chair multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Robust understanding of CDM Regulations and duty holder responsibilities.
- Experience with validation and commissioning in GMP or similarly regulated settings.
- Competence in procurement, tendering, vendor evaluation and contract administration (NEC/JCT exposure desirable).
- Ability to manage scope, change control, risk registers and project governance.
