We are looking for a proactive and detail driven DISTRIBUTION ADMINISTRATOR to join our transformed distribution/warehouse operations team in Dalkeith. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and has hands on experience with Epicor or a comparable ERP/WMS (Enterprise Resource Planning/Warehouse Management System). You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, accurate data management, and efficient coordination across our distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate order, inventory, and shipment data within Epicor or similar ERP platforms.
- Process sales orders, purchase orders, and distribution documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory control activities.
- Generate reports and analyse data to support operational decision making.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, and system records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution function.
- Strong working knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work cross functionally.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A problem solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes.
- Operate effectively as part of a team, and able to work on own initiative.
- Flexible attitude and approach.
- Previous experience in a distribution, logistics, or supply chain administration role.
- A supportive and collaborative team environment.

- Full-time (37.5 hours): Mon-Thurs: 8:00am to 4:15pm; Fri: 8:00am to 3:00pm.
- Half hour unpaid lunch daily.
- Based in the Dalkeith Warehouse Office at Thornybank, EH22 2NE.
- Salary will be dependent on experience, within the range £12.21 to £12.90 per hour (£23,809.50 to £25,155 per annum).
