Trainee Locksmith Technician in Preston

Attend residential and commercial customer callouts.
Learn to install, repair and replace locks.
Carry out property entry and security-related work.
Repair UPVC doors and door mechanisms.
Install and maintain security products.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Provide professional customer service and complete work to a high standard.
Travel to customer locations within your assigned service area.

Requirements No previous locksmith experience required – full training provided.
Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, motivated and willing to learn.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working independently once trained.
Full UK driving licence and at least one year of driving experience.
Access to reliable personal transport.
Able to successfully complete a DBS/background check.
Experience in construction, maintenance, engineering, security, property services, or other hands-on roles is advantageous but not essential.
Additional language skills are a plus.
