The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will take overall responsibility for ensuring the business meets its regulatory, quality and health & safety obligations, while driving a strong culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as the business lead and advisor for Health & Safety
- Implementing, maintaining and improving H&S and quality management systems
- Ensuring robust SOPs, risk assessments and statutory compliance are in place
- Leading accident, incident and near-miss investigations and driving corrective action
- Managing ISO standards and regulatory compliance across the Group
- Planning and leading internal audits and supporting external audits
- Leading and developing teams across compliance, laboratory, certification and H&S
- Working closely with Operations, Engineering, HR and Product teams to resolve issues and improve performance
- Using data and reporting to reduce non-conformances, complaints and risk
What We’re Looking for:
- You will be confident, credible and comfortable operating in a regulated environment.
- Proven experience in a senior SHEQ, H&S or Compliance role
- Background in FMCG or another highly regulated industry such as food, pharma or chemicals
- Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory frameworks
- Leadership experience with the ability to influence and coach teams
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience with TPD, CLP and HACCP
