We are seeking an experienced Fulfilment Manager to lead our night shift warehouse operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate fulfilment of customer orders within a fast-paced B2B distribution environment. Managing a dedicated overnight team and overseeing wider warehouse activity, you will play a key role in maintaining high service standards, driving operational performance and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys motivating teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overnight fulfilment operation, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, productivity and operational excellence across the night shift team.
  • Oversee labour planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands and order volumes.
  • Monitor workflow and operational performance throughout the shift, making real‑time decisions to maintain service levels.
  • Ensure replenishment activities support uninterrupted fulfilment operations and stock availability.
  • Take ownership of key performance measures including productivity, quality, accuracy, OTIF, absence and health & safety.
  • Act as the senior operational lead on site during night shift hours, resolving issues and escalating where required.
  • Maintain compliance with all warehouse health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, coaching and ongoing development.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency, processes and service delivery.
  • Deliver clear and effective shift handovers to ensure continuity across operations.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous management experience within a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment environment.
  • Proven experience leading night shift operations in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Experience within B2B fulfilment, wholesale distribution or a customer-focused logistics operation.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse replenishment processes, stock flow management and operational planning.
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience coaching, developing and managing employee performance.
  • Strong decision‑making skills with the ability to respond quickly to operational challenges.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanning technology.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A proactive leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability and team engagement.
