Position overview
Quality is everything in news publishing. A misformatted article, an oddly cropped image, a layout that doesn’t render exactly as it should - these things matter when millions of readers are counting on accurate, polished content.
As a Junior Editorial Quality Analyst, you’ll help us test new features, hunt for bugs, flag issues and help ensure our platform performs flawlessly for some of the world’s biggest publishers. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in media and publishing. You don’t need a technical background - we’ll teach you what you need to know. What matters is that you care about precision, notice things others miss and take pride in getting things right.
You’ll report to our Support Team Lead and learn from the wider support and QA team. You’ll regularly interact with the entire team - from audience development to engineering to customer success. This is a remote role, but we are looking for a candidate who can meet in London once a month.
Why you should apply
You’ll be joining a company trusted by some of the world’s biggest and most respected media brands. Our work makes a huge impact on how high-quality journalism reaches millions of readers - and quality assurance is central to making that happen. We’re a remote-first, fast-growing team that cares deeply about what we do - and in particular about the role of journalism. We believe in giving our team members the tools, freedom and trust they need to do their best work - and we’ll support you every step of the way. If you’re early in your career and want to join a company where your attention to detail genuinely matters, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Test new features and updates before they go live, checking for bugs, formatting issues and edge cases
- Document and report issues clearly, working with our engineering team to get them resolved
- Help support our enterprise customers by triaging enquiries and troubleshooting problems
- Spot patterns in issues and flag them proactively to improve our product
- Contribute to building and improving our QA processes and documentation
- Maintain high standards across everything you touch
Ideal candidate
- Recent graduate in journalism, media, communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional attention to detail - you’re the person who spots the typo everyone else missed (bonus points if you include an example typo or mistake recently that bothered you)
- Clear, precise written communication
- Organised and methodical in how you approach tasks
- Curious about technology and eager to learn
- Genuine interest in news, publishing or media
