We’re looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to help us accomplish our mission to improve and extend lives by learning from the experience of every person with cancer.
What You'll Do
As our Senior Compensation Analyst, you'll be at the heart of building compensation programs that attract top talent who are passionate about improving lives through every cancer patient's experience. You will be instrumental in developing compensation programs that are competitive, equitable, and transparent. In addition you will:
- Manage the annual compensation review process, including partnering with HRIS on Workday configuration and testing, collaborating with HR Business Partners and Performance Management on strategy, and developing clear communications and training to drive understanding and engagement.
- Drive our market intelligence strategy - administer benchmarking tools, lead Flatiron's participation in compensation surveys, and execute position-to-market analyses that keep our compensation structures competitive and market-relevant.
- Maintain the integrity of compensation data in Workday, overseeing day-to-day operations, approvals, and system optimization.
- Conduct data analysis, model compensation scenarios, and use data storytelling to provide compelling insights that enable the team and leadership to make informed decisions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Recruiters on internal and external offers aligned with our compensation philosophy.
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, HRIS on a variety of reporting and projects.
- Manage Flatiron's equity program - serve as the go-to expert for employees on equity-related questions, ensuring they understand the value of their awards and how the program works and identify and develop employee training opportunities.
- Lead high-priority total rewards projects.

- 4+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with demonstrated expertise across the full compensation lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience managing compensation data in Workday, including the Advanced Compensation module.
- Strong understanding of compensation-related laws and regulations (FLSA, pay equity legislation, state and local requirements).
- Track record of working effectively in matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, modeling, large data sets) and Workday.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can translate complex compensation concepts for diverse audiences.
- Highly organized with excellent project management capabilities.
- Curiosity for leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency, automate routine tasks, and increase effectiveness.
Extra Credit
- Experience with benchmarking software (Payfactors preferred).
- Experience with equity administration software and Long-Term Incentive program administration, including tax reporting.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or other relevant certifications.
- Life Sciences or technology industry experience.
