About the role
As flatfair expands its product portfolio, we’re looking for a Sales Consultant to introduce more letting agents and property partners to flatfair and turn that opportunity into new revenue. You will build and convert a pipeline through your own targeted business development, alongside opportunities generated through inbound enquiries, Marketing, events and industry relationships. You will own opportunities from first contact through to contract, then work with colleagues to support a successful launch. This is a full-cycle sales role for someone who enjoys opening new conversations as much as progressing and closing live opportunities.
What you will deliver
- Build and convert a consistent pipeline of qualified new-business opportunities.
- Generate prospects through targeted calling, outreach, networking, referrals, social selling and industry events.
- Lead opportunities from discovery and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Diagnose each prospect’s needs and build a clear commercial case for the flatfair products that best address them.
- Deliver agreed new-partner and revenue targets.
- Maintain reliable pipeline, activity and forecasting information in HubSpot.
- Share customer, market and competitor insight that helps flatfair improve its products and commercial approach.
How we work
Opportunities will come from a mix of sources, but you will not rely on a constant stream of inbound leads. You will need to generate your own prospects and maintain consistent business-development activity while progressing live deals. You will work remotely for most of the month and attend our London office every other Thursday. You will also travel for customer meetings and relevant UK industry events. You will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, Partnerships, Marketing and Product. The team is lean, so you will have access to experienced colleagues without layers of management between you and the people making decisions.
What you will bring
You will already have experience owning a B2B sales target and managing opportunities through the full sales cycle. You will also have:
- A record of generating qualified opportunities through outbound activity.
- Experience managing deals from prospecting through negotiation and close.
- Strong discovery skills and the ability to build value-based proposals.
- A structured approach to managing pipeline, activity and forecasts.
- Experience building relationships with operational and senior decision-makers.
- The judgement to progress opportunities independently and involve senior colleagues when needed.
- Experience selling to letting agents or other property businesses would be useful, but it is not essential. Experience in solution-led technology or financial-services sales may also be relevant.
