We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of existing partners and grow their commercial value. We have a strong base of partners, but there is still plenty of untapped potential across the portfolio. Some partners could be using more of our products, some relationships could be broader, and in some accounts we know there is more opportunity to unlock.
Your job is to work out where that potential sits, build the right relationships and turn it into sustainable revenue growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Build strong relationships across partner organisations, so flatfair is connected to the right people and stays front of mind.
- Understand each account’s priorities, challenges and commercial potential, so you can decide where to focus your time and effort.
- Create and deliver clear account growth plans, so priority partners have a practical route to increased adoption and revenue.
- Increase use of existing products and identify cross-sell opportunities, so we grow both the depth and breadth of each partnership.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities, so account growth is planned, visible and actively progressed.
- Use data and HubSpot to manage performance, activity and next steps, so decisions are based on evidence and opportunities keep moving.
- Bring in the right people from across flatfair when needed, using support from Product, Support, Operations and Marketing to help deliver the best commercial outcome.
You won’t be expected to personally solve every operational or product issue. We have teams who own that work. Your role is to understand what matters to the partner, know who can help, and keep ownership of moving the relationship forward.
There is also real scope to shape how you manage your accounts. We’ll give you a portfolio and clear commercial expectations, but we want you to decide where the best opportunities are, how to prioritise them and what needs to happen next.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll already have solid experience in B2B key account management, strategic account management or partner development, with clear commercial ownership.
- We’re looking for someone who can show that they have:
- Grown revenue across an existing portfolio by identifying the right opportunities, building clear account plans and consistently progressing them.
- Turned underdeveloped accounts into stronger, higher-value commercial relationships.
- Increased adoption of existing products and successfully introduced additional products or services.
- A broad commercial toolkit, with the confidence to use proactive sales skills throughout account management, from creating opportunities and handling objections to progressing growth with existing partners.
- Built relationships beyond the day-to-day contact, including senior decision makers and commercial stakeholders.
- Owned a live pipeline of account-growth opportunities and been accountable for progressing and forecasting it.
- Used data and commercial insight to decide where to spend time and where the strongest growth potential sits.
- A structured, professional approach to account management, informed by recognised sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, formal training or other relevant learning.
- It would also be useful if you have experience in a fast-moving B2B tech or SaaS environment, particularly where growth depends on adoption, ongoing usage and account development rather than one-off contract value. Experience in property, PropTech, lettings or Build to Rent would also be useful.
This is a commercial account growth role rather than a support-led account management position. We’re looking for someone who can point to specific examples of where their own actions have created measurable growth within existing accounts.
You understand that account growth starts with consistent fundamentals: staying close to your partners, picking up the phone, following through on actions and keeping opportunities moving rather than waiting for them to appear.
