Financial Controller - Beef HQ - London

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Financial Controller to join our Beef HQ team and help shape the future of our finance function. Reporting to our Head of Finance, you'll lead a team of five, take ownership of our financial reporting and controls, and drive improvements to make our finance processes more efficient as we grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, coach and develop a team of five.
- Own the period-end close, reducing it from 11 working days to 6.
- Oversee management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Manage restaurant-level controls, including stock, GP, cash, payroll and tronc.
- Lead the year-end audit and ensure statutory compliance.
- Improve and automate finance processes to support our continued growth.
- Partner with teams across Beef HQ to support new restaurant openings.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
- Experience in multi-site hospitality, leisure or retail preferred.
- Proven experience leading and developing a finance team.
- Strong financial controls, management accounting and Excel skills.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for improving processes.
