As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and driven Property Project Manager to help us manage the construction of our new restaurants' new sites and elevate existing ones. We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally with complex sites like Listed Buildings and proof of managing multiple projects at once
  • Qualifications: MRICS or CIOB is a plus, though not essential.
  • Skills: Strong commercial awareness, cost management skills, and the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.

Here’s what you’ll get up to:

  • Site Visits and Risk Assessment: Conduct site visits of potential opportunities to evaluate new opportunities identified by the Property Director. Create risk register and mitigation plans for potential issues to development.
  • Budget and CAPEX Management: Collaborate with our Quantity Surveyor (QS) to review CAPEX budgets and find savings without sacrificing quality. Provide regular updates to the Property Director and support Investment Board approvals. Implement value engineering to minimise costs while upholding the Flat Iron brand, and ensure all site variations align with budget expectations.
  • Project Oversight, Programme Management, and Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate surveys, manage contractor visits, and oversee the scope of work to make sure everything runs smoothly and meets the timeline. Work closely with the Property Director and landlords to secure essential internal approvals and third‑party consents.
  • Contractor Management: Effectively manage and motivate external consultants, contractors, and suppliers and carry out tenders for contractors and client directs when required.
  • Handovers, Compliance: Prepare comprehensive handovers for the Operations Team, ensuring compliance standards are met, oversee procurement and invoicing, and compile O&M manuals.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Take the lead as a Duty Holder under the Building Safety Act, managing health and safety, building regulations, and fire safety standards for every project we take on.
