Responsibilities
- Translate our people strategy into practical plans, tools and programmes that strengthen culture, engagement and performance.
- Partner closely with Operations and support teams to ensure initiatives are embedded consistently across the business and create a remarkable employee experience from hire to exit.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning and organisational capability.
- Develop frameworks, learning initiatives and development programmes that help our teams grow, progress and perform at their best.
- Lead engagement surveys, forums and wellbeing initiatives, turning insight into meaningful action.
- Manage key people projects and change programmes, ensuring they land effectively and deliver lasting impact.
- Lead salary reviews, benchmarking and benefits activity, while ensuring policies, systems and processes support both our culture and commercial goals.
- Use people data and insight to identify trends, drive improvements and support business decisions.
- Lead and develop our People team, creating a high‑performing function that delivers a consistent, supportive and high‑quality experience across Flat Iron.
- Manage regular travel across our sites, with occasional evening and weekend work where required to support the business.
Qualifications
- Strong generalist HR experience with excellent people leadership skills.
- Experience building and embedding people initiatives that drive culture and performance.
- Confident influencing and coaching stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially minded with a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Curious, resilient and solutions focused.
- CIPD qualified (nice to have, not essential).
- Hospitality or leisure experience (nice to have, not essential).
