About the role: As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our client's team, working on a variety of projects primarily across the South UK region. You will help deliver high-quality cabling installations based on site drawings and customer instructions. Please note: This is a cabling installation role, not an IT role.
Key responsibilities:
- Install and terminate CAT6 and CAT6A cabling.
- Install single-mode, multi-mode and blown fibre systems.
- Fit containment, including trunking, basket, conduit and tray work.
- Test copper and fibre optic cabling.
- Interpret site drawings and follow customer instructions accurately.
- Work collaboratively to complete challenging projects to a high standard.
- Complete security clearance processes for specific contracts when required.
