Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking to join an established firm with deep local roots and a supportive working environment? This is an excellent opportunity to support our client's Private Client Team while delivering a professional and efficient service to clients.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm.
Location: Merry Hill Office. Full-time, permanent. This is a fully office-based position.

About the role
As a Legal Secretary within the Private Client Team, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners. You will play an important part in the smooth running of the team, managing documents, correspondence, diaries and client communication while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and excellent service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and format legal documents, contracts and professional correspondence.
- Complete audio typing and transcribe dictation accurately and efficiently.
- Manage diaries, appointments, emails and schedules using Microsoft Outlook.
- Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and external contacts.
- Maintain accurate and organised electronic and paper filing systems.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry and document management.
- Create and update spreadsheets and tracking information using Microsoft Excel.
- Prioritise competing tasks effectively and help the team meet important deadlines.
About you:
Our client is looking for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a busy legal environment and takes pride in producing accurate work. Previous experience as a Private Client Legal Secretary or in a similar law firm position.
- Excellent audio typing skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong administrative, organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
- A professional, discreet and client-focused approach.
