Job Description Take ownership of varied treasury and partnership finance work within a busy, established and growing Canterbury practice. Financial Controller Full Time, Permanent Highly competitive salary depending on experience Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client’s busy team, working within a well-established and growing Canterbury-based practice. Working within the treasury department, you will assist the Partners with a range of Partnership functions. Regular bank reconciliations and associated transactions. Posting transactions on both QuickBooks and Xero software. Month-end Management Accounts, including journals. Working closely with Treasury Partners to support cost control within budgets. Managing the workload and performance of Treasury team members. Preparing financial documents such as invoices, accounts payable and receivable. General accounts administration, including maintaining files. Other tasks as assigned and ad hoc work as requested. Be at least AAT qualified. Have previous experience using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero. Have excellent verbal and written English, including a high level of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. No agencies, please.
