About the role As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will play a crucial role within our client's team, working on a variety of projects primarily across the South UK region, you will help deliver high-quality cabling installations based on site drawings and customer instructions. Please note: This is a cabling installation role, not an IT role. Key responsibilities Install and terminate CAT6 and CAT6A cabling. Install single-mode, multi-mode and blown fibre systems. Fit containment, including trunking, basket, conduit and tray work. Test copper and fibre optic cabling. Interpret site drawings and follow customer instructions accurately. Work collaboratively to complete challenging projects to a high standard. Complete security clearance processes for specific contracts when required. The ideal candidate Our client is looking for someone based in the South UK region who has: Proven data cable installation experience. Strong practical knowledge of copper and fibre optic systems. Experience installing containment and testing completed cabling. The flexibility to travel and stay away from home when necessary. A professional, quality-focused approach to their work.
