We are looking for a Pressure Vessel System Support Engineer to join their team in Stockport. This newly created role will work closely with two Product Managers, supporting the sales, installation, and after-sales service of pressure vessel projects and related systems.

You will play a key part in ensuring customer success, from system design and installation through to compliance, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role also involves occasional support for the office team, including goods processing during holiday cover.

Expect a mix of office-based work, customer site visits across the UK and Ireland (up to two-thirds of your time), and occasional overseas training with our manufacturing partners.

About You

You will be an engineer who thrives in a technical, hands-on environment and enjoys solving complex problems. You will be confident working with customers directly, able to communicate clearly, and always focused on safety and quality. A strong team player, you will collaborate across departments and build long-term relationships with customers while ensuring systems perform at their best.

What You Need to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience with pressure-rated systems, vessels, or similar equipment
  • Knowledge of P&ID and PFD diagrams for design and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Familiarity with materials science for pressure-rated applications
  • Knowledge of PED, ASME, or PD5500 design codes
  • Experience with process control and instrumentation
  • Exposure to FEA or simulation tools

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Β£35,000 – Β£45,000 (depending on experience)
  • Performance bonus up to 15% of base salary
