Join our client in Bath as a Wood Flooring Restorer / Fitter, working on stunning Georgian and Victorian floors with expert training, great hourly pay, and bonus opportunities.

Self-Employed position: £12.21 - £20 per hour depending on experience.

Our client is a highly regarded Bath-based wood flooring specialist with over 20 years' experience working on both new and traditional floors. They are passionate about preserving and enhancing period Georgian and Victorian wood floors, as well as installing high-quality plank and parquet flooring.

The Role

They are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Wood Flooring Restorer / Fitter to join their skilled and cheerful team. This is a hands-on role working on a variety of flooring projects, from restoring character-filled period floors to installing new solid and parquet flooring in residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restoring traditional Georgian and Victorian wood floors
  • Installing new wood flooring, including plank and parquet
  • Sanding, staining, sealing, and finishing floors to a high standard
  • Carrying out basic carpentry and flooring preparation work
  • Using professional dust-free sanding equipment
  • Driving a company Transit van to and from job sites
  • Working respectfully in customers' homes and properties
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
