Flashpoint is an international tech investment manager with over $500 million AUM, investing in global technology companies built by founders originating from emerging Europe and Israel. Flashpoint manages seven venture funds across three investment strategies: Venture Capital, Growth Debt, and Direct Secondaries. The firm is headquartered in London and has offices in New York, Tel-Aviv, Budapest, Warsaw, Riga, and Nicosia.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Analyst to join our Flashpoint Secondary Fund (FSF) focused on Direct Secondaries investment strategy. FSF invests in growth‑stage (Series B+) tech companies, buying shares from existing shareholders—founders, former employees, and early‑stage investors.

Tasks

  • Financial analysis, financial modelling and other related analytical tasks, predominantly in the area of company valuations, ratios, investment performance benchmarks
  • Creating, reviewing and auditing the financial models
  • Sourcing and analysing various investment opportunities across several industries
  • Research into late stage, but growing technology companies
  • Preparation of documents for internal investment evaluation processes and investment committee
  • Participating in the commercial, financial, and legal due diligence, preparation of business plans, and other contracts
  • Monitoring the performance of portfolio companies against budget and business plan
  • Periodically attending management meetings and board meetings
  • Analysing strategic or financial exit opportunities for investments and estimating the future of invested industries for a profitable exit
  • Keep track of the portfolio companies, maintain relationship organise information coming from the companies, (from board meetings for example, as company will have full access)
  • Preparation of investor updates and portfolio reports
  • Assist in fundraising efforts

Requirements

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • University degree from a top‑of‑class university
  • CFA or equivalent is a strong benefit
  • International experience is a benefit. It is essential that the person culturally fits into a top class financial institution
  • At least 3‑5 years of prior work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital and/or start‑up company
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Technology background is a benefit
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Should fit into the existing team, open, communicative, team player, self‑driven
  • Energetic and result driven
  • Willing to work in a dynamic environment
  • Passionate about the technology space, good understanding of the market, trends and players
  • Ability to deliver results in compliance with pre‑determined time frames
  • Able to deal directly with senior people from portfolio firms or prospective ones
  • The person should be a self‑starter, a business developer and hardworking
