We’re Hiring! All-Rounders – Flashpoint Swansea

We’re looking for enthusiastic new team members to join our fantastic team at Flashpoint Swansea!

Whether you’re already passionate about climbing or keen to get involved in the sport, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As an All-Rounder, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the centre, from welcoming customers and serving great coffee to helping deliver climbing sessions and creating a fun, friendly environment for our community.

Contract: 60 & 30
Holiday entitlement: Accrued at 12% (approximately 30 days pro-rata)

Shifts will primarily be on weekday evenings and weekends, with additional hours available during school holidays.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for friendly, approachable and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with others and providing excellent customer service.

Climbing experience is a bonus, but it’s not essential. We’re just as interested in people who are keen to learn and get involved in the sport.

Desired Experience

The following would be beneficial, but aren’t essential:

• Customer service, hospitality or reception experience.
• Experience working in a climbing centre or similar environment.
• Basic IT skills, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office or Rock Gym Pro.
• Climbing, coaching or instructing qualifications and/or experience.

What Does the Role Involve?

As an All-Rounder, no two shifts are quite the same! You’ll work across reception, the café and climbing sessions, helping keep the centre running smoothly and ensuring everyone has a great experience.

Reception & Customer Service

• Welcome customers, answer questions and provide excellent service.
• Manage bookings, payments, registrations and customer enquiries.
• Promote our climbing sessions, events and other services.
• Complete daily checks, stock management and general administrative tasks.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Café

• Prepare and serve food, drinks and barista-style coffees.
• Help with pizza preparation and service.
• Follow food hygiene and allergen procedures.
• Keep café areas clean, organised and ready for customers.

Climbing Instruction & Coaching

• Help deliver Crazy Climb, Kids Club, NICAS and other climbing sessions, following appropriate training.
• Ensure sessions are safe, engaging and enjoyable for participants.
• Encourage climbers to develop their skills and discover more of what the centre has to offer.

You’ll receive training and support to develop your skills across the different areas of the role.
