Flash Energy Solution Ltd. is a UK-registered energy technology service company specialising in on-site after-sales service, maintenance, and technical support for energy storage systems and EV battery systems. Due to continued business growth, we are looking to expand our UK team and are currently recruiting a Chinese-speaking Field Service Engineer. This is a hands-on, site-based engineering role. You will be responsible for working at customer locations across the UK, supporting large-scale energy storage systems and EV battery systems. This role is not office-based and not a sales position.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of energy storage systems and EV battery systems
- Perform technical fault diagnosis and corrective actions at customer sites
- Complete service and maintenance reports in English
- Communicate with customers and internal technical teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Travel within the UK as required to support projects and service activities
Requirements:
- Background in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, Renewable Energy, or a related field (graduates and experienced engineers are both welcome)
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
- Good working proficiency in English for on-site technical communication and basic written reporting
- Willing and able to work on customer sites and travel within the UK
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
