We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join our busy Service Team. This role will focus on managing and processing recharge costs across the plant hire operation, ensuring accurate allocation, timely invoicing, and effective communication between internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and process all recharge costs associated with plant hire, breakdowns, damage, fuel, and other service-related items.
- Verify recharge claims for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and client agreements.
- Liaise with service teams, depots, and suppliers to gather supporting evidence and resolve queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all recharges, supporting both operational and finance teams.
- Provide clear communication to customers regarding recharge justifications, disputes, and resolutions.
- Monitor outstanding recharges to ensure timely processing and invoicing.
- Support the Service Manager in reviewing recharge trends, identifying recurring issues, and improving processes.
- Work closely with hire desk, workshop, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination and workflow.
- Previous experience in a service, hire desk, or plant hire administration role is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience in managing invoicing, recharges, or cost allocation processes preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
