Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Bodywork Repair Specialist to join our workshop team. This role involves carrying out high-quality bodywork, panel, and paint repairs on our fleet of plant machinery and vehicles, ensuring they remain in excellent working condition and meet company standards. Key Responsibilities * Inspect plant machinery, vehicles, and attachments for bodywork damage. * Carry out repairs including welding, panel beating, dent removal, filler application, and sanding. * Prepare and respray body panels, components, and cabs to a professional finish. * Fabricate replacement panels or parts where necessary. * Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards. * Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used. * Work collaboratively with workshop colleagues to minimise downtime of equipment. * Follow company health & safety policies and maintain a clean, organised working environment. Skills & Experience * Proven experience in bodywork repair, ideally in plant, commercial vehicles, or HGVs. * Strong welding, fabrication, and spray-painting skills. * Ability to use a wide range of bodywork repair tools and equipment. * Good attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Desirable * Previous experience working with plant machinery (excavators, dump trucks, etc.). * Knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical fitting. * Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in bodywork repair or similar trade
