P Flannery Plant Hire is a blue chip plant hire company and one of the largest plant hire companies in the UK, specialising in Operated and self-drive Plant hire. We are currently looking for an Operated Plant Resourcer in our Birmingham office.
Overall purpose of the job: P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd is seeking an Operated Plant Resourcer to assist with resourcing operatives. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake resourcing tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. We want to work with people from every background, so we are passionate about building a diverse workforce that represents the clients we support. We, therefore, welcome applications from everyone who meets the essential criteria for the role.
Duties:
- Registering new candidates/Operatives onto the system
- Sourcing and placing suitable candidates/Operatives for specific jobs
- Maintaining and updating existing database
- Being the point of contact and maintaining relationships with operators
- Liaising with other internal departments
- Responding to emails in a professional manner
- Ensure all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with the Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Company policies
- Any other ad-hoc duties (where necessary)
Required Skills and experience:
- Ability to keep calm and work under pressure
- Having the ability to think outside the box, and deal with various different scenarios
- Good organisational skills
- Work well individually and as part of a team
- Previous experience within recruitment sector (construction background will be ideal but NOT essential)
Key Relationships:
- Externally: Customers & Drivers
- Internally: All staff, including Depot & Departmental managers
Qualifications:
- Technical skills: IT literate with basic Microsoft Office – MS Word and Excel and in-house system
- Preferably with previous Resourcing experience
