We are seeking a high-calibre Management Accountant with 3 years+ of post-qualified experience to join our growing business and finance team. This is a pivotal role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced industry environment and wants to move beyond "just the numbers" to drive real business impact. Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, you will be a key part of the management team, providing the leadership team with the insights needed to make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Ownership: Manage the end-to-end day-to-day accounting function of the joint-ventures, including the general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end close; liaising with the joint venture partners.
- Management Reporting: Produce monthly management packs with accurate information.
- Technical Expert: You possess advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and have a solid grasp of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Communicator: You can "tell the story" behind the data, influencing stakeholders and challenging budget holders where necessary.
- Deadline Driven: You are resilient and stay calm under pressure, consistently meeting tight month-end deadlines.
