The Role

Department: Forward Deployed Team

Reports to: Forward Deployed Lead (Taariq Ismail)

Location: London Area (preferably ~1.5 hr commute to London).

Working Model: Hybrid (regularly 1 day/week in-office + ad-hoc collaboration sprints/weeks).

Employment Type: Full-Time

As a Forward Deployed Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of legal operations, data analysis, and solution engineering.

You will act as the right hand of the Forward Deployed Lead, taking ownership of the critical operational work required to scale our deployments. Initially, this means handling the heavy lifting: data cleaning/analysis, deck creation, project management and troubleshooting.

You need to be commercial enough to understand ROI, technical enough to speak to Engineering, and empathetic enough to guide lawyers through change management.

You are a builder who is happy to get their hands dirty with data and operations today. As you master the platform and the process, this role is a path to ownership: you will graduate to leading end-to-end onboardings for enterprise customers and ALSP partners.

What You’ll Do

• Operational Support & Analysis
• Data Analysis: Own the data reporting for our customers. Pull raw usage logs, clean the data, and analyse performance to prove ROI (e.g., \”Turnaround Time\” or \”Accuracy\”).
• Asset Creation: Build high-quality slide decks and reporting assets used in weekly meetings or Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and partner updates.
• Project Management: Maintain internal trackers and deployment documentation, ensuring every customer status is accurate and up to date.
• Implementation & Configuration
• Hands‑on Deployment: Configure agents in the platform, ingest playbooks and templates, and refine guidance to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense for configuration issues, investigate why an agent \”failed\” a task and fix before escalating to Engineering.
• Partner Operations
• Supporting ALSPs: Set up the infrastructure and documentation required for ALSPs/MSPs to deploy Flank agents. Triage technical queries and ensure partners minimise friction.
• Automation & Systematisation
• Automate the Boring Stuff: Use LLMs, scripts, or no‑code tools (e.g., Zapier) to turn manual processes into reusable templates and automated workflows.
• Build Tools: Build simple internal tools that help the FD team move faster, moving us away from \”one-off spreadsheets\” to scalable systems.
• Shadowing & Growth (The Future)

Pathway to Forward Deployed Strategist

• Technical Discovery & Process Mining: Lead workflow mapping sessions, work with corporate legal teams, translate manual processes to logical agent architectures, define integrations with Slack, Jira, CLMs, etc.
• Change Management & Adoption: Learn to help lawyers trust the machine, define adoption strategy, identify power users, manage transition from manual work.
• Scalability: Graduate from using templates to creating them, building knowledge‑base assets and libraries that allow faster deployment with each new customer.

What You Bring

• Experience: 1‑2 years in a high‑velocity environment (Ops, Business Analyst, Systems Integration) or 9‑12+ month high‑ownership internships.
• Proactive & Creative: Comfortable building things; may not be a software engineer but can write scripts or use No‑Code tools, naturally using AI to solve problems.
• Data Driven & Detail Oriented: Handle grunt work to get right answers, comfortable cleaning data in Excel/Sheets and producing error‑free presentations.
• Execution First: Bias for action, detail‑oriented, delivers polished work that needs no double‑checking.
• Location: Based in London or within a ~1.5 hour commute, willing to come into the office 1x per week for high‑bandwidth collaboration.

Nice to Haves (but not required)

• Exposure to the Legal industry or Legal Ops.
• Experience in a \”Forward Deployed\” or Implementation role at a SaaS company.
