3 man Gang - Civils - 42.5 - 45 hours per week in Barnstaple. This role will be self-employed, rates vary depending on experience/tickets.

The Company

The company specialise in the installation of Water, Gas & Electricity services, delivering a nationwide service providing a complete multi-utility solution. A 3 Man Gang is required to deliver an electrical utility project.

The Role

This role would suit a gang who are very experienced in utility excavation work, with a particular bias towards water or electric projects including trenching, installation of new utilities & digging in the road around existing services. You will be working for a utility subcontractor and should be experienced in the requirements of major contractors.

Duties will involve:

  • Excavation
  • Trenching
  • Installation of gas, water or electric

Requirements

As a minimum, the gang will hold the following certifications:

  • 360 Excavator
  • Forward Tipping Dumper
  • Streetworks Chapters 1-9
  • Shea Power

Pay Rate

Team Leader up to £24 per hour, Operative up to £22.50 per hour. There is the opportunity for ongoing work for the right gang.
