Picker (Days/Nights) in Stevenage

Job Purpose:

To make sure that all customer contracts are picked correctly and accurately, this means product dates and quality must be checked continuously when picking. Picking also needs to be finished within allotted time as each vehicle has a window collection time.

General Areas of Responsibility

• Understanding of the Health & Safety Act and its implications to you, your colleagues and the company.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.
• Adhering to the Company’s Hygiene standards as detailed in the Company Hand book.
• Adhering to the Company’s quality policy

Principle Accountabilities

• To ensure efficiency targets per hour standards are met and are improved

• To ensure accuracy of all plans are followed, ensure correct labels/packaging/trays are used.

• Ensure a comprehensive handover is given to all shifts and departments within operations if required

• To ensure all produce is picked in line with the current product specification
• To report serious disciplinary issues to a supervisor / manager
• To ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to in all areas at all times

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications

• Computer proficiency
• Must have sound administrative skills
• Must have a flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills required

Please note this is a full-time role. Wed-Sat Day and Night shift available
