We are looking for a proactive and motivated Production Coach (CI) to support our production teams in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership and problem-solving skills who is passionate about developing people and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and develop Cell Leaders, Line Leaders, and frontline colleagues to improve performance, accountability, and engagement.
- Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance operational performance.
- Embed standard work, operating procedures, and safe working practices across production areas.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure sustainable solutions.
- Support annual Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) reviews, training, and retraining activities.
- Monitor and improve ERP data accuracy through coaching and process discipline.
- Assist with absence management, return-to-work processes, investigations, recruitment, and other people-related activities.
- Contribute to daily operational meetings, helping teams resolve issues and remove barriers to performance.
- Champion Health & Safety, food safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the operation.
About You
You will be a confident coach and communicator with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, operations, or continuous improvement environment.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good organisational, numerical, and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively.
- Positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work.
Desirable
- Experience developing frontline leaders and operational teams.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Food manufacturing or FMCG experience.
