We're recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker for a small children's home on the outskirts of Gainsborough, two young boys in placement, a third planned, and a team that needs an experienced hand to help lead shifts. Flamingo Workforce is recruiting on the home's behalf. This is a permanent post, employed directly by the home. The role Everything a Residential Support Worker does trauma-informed day-to-day care, routines, records, safeguarding — plus the senior layer: supporting less experienced colleagues on shift, taking the lead on care plans and documentation, and being the steady presence when behaviour challenges. At £16.00 an hour plus £60 per sleep-in, realistic earnings on a full rota comfortably clear £35,000 a year. What you'll need * Solid experience in residential childcare * Confident knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and attachment theory * Calm leadership in challenging situations, and clean, accurate recording * Flexibility for evenings, weekends and sleep-ins * A full UK driving licence is strongly preferred given the rural location * Enhanced DBS (support provided); no visa sponsorship available — right to work required Pay and benefits £16.00 per hour, £60 per sleep-in, minimum 37.5 hours with overtime, pension, on-site parking, casual dress, referral programme, and genuine training and progression.
