We are looking for a team of NPLQ Lifeguards to work in our Leisure Centre, and are recruiting for additional staff who would like to train to become a Lifeguard.

Main duties will be:

  • Supervising the pool area
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Carrying out rescues when required
  • General poolside cleaning
  • Reporting to the manager on site

You will be part of the wider Leisure Centre Team and will also assist in the following areas when not on poolside:

  • Reception
  • Cleaning
  • Changing Rooms
  • Gymnasium
  • Sauna & Steam Room
  • Poolside Cafe
  • General Customer Activities

Essential Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a front-line customer facing environment.
  • Be able to work flexible hours and weekend on a rota basis.
  • Giving out information on all aspects of our operation, including theme park, zoo and holiday village.

Pay: Up to £12.90 per hour
