Summary

As a Flamingo land Engineer/Fitter you will install, maintain and repair Flamingo Land's ride and attractions.

Responsibilities will include

  • Ride / attraction inspections
  • Ride / attraction maintenance
  • Fault finding / diagnosis
  • Replacing mechanical components
  • Replacing pneumatic/hydraulic components
  • Replacing (plug-in) pressure sensors/prox sensors/switches
  • Mounting/fitting photo limit sensors/switches
  • Slip rings/rails/brush gear maintenance
  • Parts requisition and replacement
  • Following risk assessments and method statements
  • Understanding hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
  • Carrying out lifting operations
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness
  • Maintaining a high level of safety to yourself and others around you

You will follow engineering instructions and use relevant approved diagrams when working on rides and attractions.

You will also use a range of tools to calibrate, adjust, inspect and test equipment and machinery to make sure they are working correctly and safely.
