About the Role

Set in 375 acres of picturesque North Yorkshire countryside, Flamingo Land Resort creates a truly unforgettable experience for guests of all ages. Our Arcades are cashless zones and, where necessary, you will assist our Guests to charge the Fun Cards using their credit or debit cards to be able to play on our machines.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Guests with general queries including how to use the cashless Fun Cards.
  • Be vigilant and ensure that Guests are playing the machines in a responsible manner.
  • Ensure that the Arcade and its machines are clean.
  • All beds on the pushers are topped up with prizes.
  • Crane and Prize Every Time Machines are clean, stocked up and well presented.
  • All ticket machines are stocked and operational.
  • The gift shop is stocked up and well presented.
  • Serve in the redemption shop.
  • Help maintain a clean well-run stock run.
  • Update all stock systems as required.

Qualifications

Applicants for this role must be over 18 to comply with WTR & licensing regulations.

Hours

Most of our seasonal roles are available on a full time and part time basis. Typically a full time role is up to 40 hours a week, our part time roles are often 16 to 24 hours a week in term times increasing during university, college and school holidays. Our busiest trading days are weekends, holidays and bank holidays therefore it is to be expected we will need our Team to be available to ensure our Guests have the experience they deserve. Shifts for these roles typically start at around 3pm and finish at 11pm. Therefore access to your own transport is highly desirable.
