To ensure all lines in your area are supplied with product and clear of any unwanted boxes/equipment. To safely operate a Powered Pallet Truck or Forklift within a chilled fresh-produce environment, ensuring the efficient movement of stock, accurate order picking, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and product quality.
Dimensions of the Job
- Responsible for supplying and taking away product, customer equipment as well as rubbish/empty boxes and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Must hold a valid POEP/forklift truck licence, use this proficiently and most importantly use it in a safe manner.
- Load, unload, and transport produce within the warehouse and production areas.

- Understanding of the Health & Safety Act and its implications to you, your colleagues and the company.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and following safe working practices.
- Adhering to the Company’s Hygiene standards as detailed in the Company Handbook.
- Adhering to the Company’s quality policy.
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications
- Must have a valid POEP/Forklift licence.
- Previous experience in fresh produce, food distribution, or chilled warehousing preferred.
- Must have a flexible approach to work.
- Good communication skills required.
